Multitasking Mama

I tend to be very busy lately. In fact, I have been so busy that I have made excuses to stop doing what I love because I rationalize that I am too tired, have too much to do, and can’t do what I want because I have commitments. This morning, I woke up telling myself that today is the day that I go back to what makes me happy. I have a pile of books I have been meaning to read, and I wanted to go back to the gym and blog. I wanted to go back to my writing, but by the end of the day, I chose to scroll social media mindlessly rather than put my goals first. If I already have my phone in my hand, why not just write? I excuse myself, saying I don’t know what to say. What advice do you give when you need advice yourself? Well, today, I decided enough with the excuses and self-depricating talk. If you are feeling like me and need a little motivation (or like me a swift kick in the behind), this is me telling you to go tackle your goals. Go run for your dreams and follow your passion. As for me, I’m writing this while finally listening to a motivational audio book while peddaling happily on a bike at the gym. Happy Monday, my friends. This writer is back and ready to get to work!
