Resources
Start where you are. Find what you need next.
You should not have to dig through an entire website when you already know what kind of support you are looking for. This page is designed as a simple starting point for marriage, family, faith, military life, professional support, and urgent safety needs.
What do you need help with?
Marriage
Communication, conflict, repair, connection, family-of-origin patterns, boundaries, friendship, and military-marriage realities.
Start here if: you want practical tools for tending the relationship rather than keeping score.
Family
Parenting, regulation, behavior, sibling differences, boundaries, family patterns, repair, and growing together without demanding sameness.
Start here if: your family needs more connection, structure, understanding, or a healthier reset.
Faith
Prayer, Scripture, gratitude, rest, trust, covenant, boundaries, motherhood, endurance, and staying anchored when life does not follow the plan.
Start here if: you need grounding more than another productivity strategy.
Military Life
PCS moves, separation, reintegration, recruiting and duty demands, military kids, spouse careers, community, resilience, and advocacy.
Start here if: you are trying to grow in a season or location you did not choose.
Help me find the roots.
Sometimes the problem we can see is not the whole problem. A recurring argument may connect to family history. A parenting struggle may be intensified by exhaustion or transition. A military-life stressor may be exposing a relationship pattern that was already there.
A useful place to begin is with four questions:
- What is happening right now?
- What pattern keeps repeating?
- What is within my responsibility or control?
- What kind of support would actually fit this problem?
This is reflection, not diagnosis. The goal is simply to help you identify the next useful direction.
Know what kind of support you are looking for.
Education & Coaching
Useful for learning skills, reflecting on patterns, strengthening communication, setting goals, and practicing healthier relationship habits.
Therapy
Appropriate when you want individualized mental-health treatment, assessment, deeper therapeutic work, or support for symptoms and concerns that require a licensed professional.
Crisis & Safety Support
Needed when there is immediate danger, suicidal thinking, abuse, threats, coercion, serious safety concerns, or another urgent situation that should not wait for ordinary relationship or parenting advice.
If this is urgent
If someone is in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline when you or someone else is experiencing a mental-health, suicide, or substance-use crisis.
If abuse, coercion, stalking, or violence is part of the situation, prioritize safety and seek specialized domestic-violence support rather than relying on ordinary couples communication advice.
Military families can also use official military and installation resources for crisis support, family advocacy, legal assistance, chaplain care, benefits questions, and command-specific needs.
In a crisis, focus on getting to the right help rather than sorting through more information.
Find the next right step.
You do not have to solve the whole garden today. Identify what needs tending, what needs support, and what can wait.
Resources and educational content on Anchored Where We Grow are not psychotherapy, diagnosis, legal advice, medical advice, crisis care, or official military guidance. External resources should always be evaluated for the needs and circumstances of the person using them.
