The Incredibles

Have any of you seen the second Incredibles movie? The one where the mom is away doing superhero things, but the dad was left at home? The moment when Mr. Incredible rants about how hard parenting is and the scene where he’s worn out and needs Edna’s help are all very real to how I feel sometimes as a mom. I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, and want nothing more than to juggle all of the things in our life with ease. I want to be incredible and a supermom, but it isn’t possible. I love our children and my husband, I want them all to be happy, healthy, and thriving. I want to be what everyone needs, but I can’t be. To be completely honest, I wasn’t designed to be everything for everyone. In my own way, I am incredible to God just as he made me.
